We had to buy flex tube because my previous clawfoot tub was plumbed 6.5" between hot and cold. This is made for 7" between hot and cold water lines. I called to ask about instructions, they said they'd email them, but they did not. Even a plumber is not going to want to install this, you have to retry fittings until you get the right one. Use plumbers putty rather than plumbers tape and you'll have better results. The faucet is great and the tub is comfortable, if you're a big person, keep in mind that it's only 24" wide for your shoulders.

Tub and fixtures are beautiful and top notch quality. Easy to assemble. Only complaint was it had no instructions.
