My igniter on my grill went out so I ordered this replacement. The first one didn't work so I ordered a second. The second didn't work either. I finally got around to pulling them apart. One, the metal prongs were turned sideways so they didn't make contact when the button was pressed. The second one, the metal prongs weren't pulled out far enough to make contact when the button was depressed. I got both to work, but your customers shouldn't have to disassemble and reassemble to make them work.

I have to admit, I was ready to return the igniter when I first compared it to the original Weber Q220 installation. (This model has been in constant use for many years at our RV). I didn't think the new unit would possibly fit - the original one was threaded and fit into a hole in the side of the Q220. The new one is permanently attached to an aluminum bracket. First, remove the old igniter entirely. Then remove the bolt that fastens the burner to the grill, lift the burner and slide the new igniter underneath. The burner bolt hole aligns perfectly with the new bracket, so it bolts in place correctly. Wired it up and it works great!
