This package comes with each size of split-ring in individual zip-lock baggies. Quality looks good and I'll entrust my key sailboat rig components to them. Perfect to keep onboard in the tool box for those times when I drop these things overboard.

These cotter rings were tested out by me using both magnets and a salt test. Initially when I tested these with magnets they had a little bit more magnetic attraction than I was expecting. So, I decided to do a high salt water test. They were allowed to dry out and be re-wetted repeatedly over a number of days. There was absolutely no rust or corrosion on any of them. I'm convinced that they are good quality 316 stainless as the listing states.I use these on our sailboat and like the assortment. The medium to large sizes are the ones I use the most.I prefer cotter rings over cotter pins whenever possible so as to reduce damage to sails, lines and cuts and scrapes in general.

I actually got these for a crafting use - I needed a stainless steel ring that would be safe for washing for attaching some trim to a blanket. I used one of the smallest sizes for that and it works really well. The rest of these will go to my husband for use on the boat and other uses that need to be corrosion resistant. The ring style of these seems much more secure than the pin style. The rings arrived well organized in separate, labeled mini ziplock bags, which helps keep them together and from getting gross while in the toolbox. This looks like pretty much the exact same set as is available at the West Marine near me, however that is a couple of dollars more. Their set comes in a nice plastic organizer box, so I guess it's up to you if the boys is with an extra 2 dollars.

The three largest sizes are ideal replacements for several tractor implements I use regularly. Haven't found a use for the 7/16 and 3/8 rings yet but I'm sure something will come up.All appear to be SUS as claimed and the workmanship is excellent. Memory is 100% and the rigidity is good for the intended applications.

These are perfect for that connection on your snow blower or mower that requires a clip to keep things together whether the can also be used to keep nut from coming off by drilling small hole through the threaded rod or bolt.

These are well fabricated and finished cotter rings. Testing with a magnet evidenced slight magnetism which is consistent with 316 stainless steel which has been cold worked into a ring. I prefer 316 stainless steel because it provides substantially better corrosion resistance than 304 (aka 18-8) stainless steel. Each ring size arrived in a separate poly bag with labels on each bag conveniently specifying cotter ring size and associated clevis pin size (pictured). I'll simply put them all into a slightly larger poly bag which will store efficiently in one of the small pocket in my rigging bag, readily accessible for the variety of uses which will arise on my sailboat. I prefer storage of small items in poly bags since they take up much less of the limited space available on my boat, and in tool bags, than hard plastic cases.I'm confident these cotter rings will serve well.

Nice assortment of pin keepers. More secure than R clips, but a little more effort to install, too. Not able to be accidently pushed out or broken off like R clips. Most of these are pretty small but are usefull on lawn equipment or farm machinery where R clips or even cotter pins are used. These don't stick out and seem strong . No sharp bends like R clips to make a weak, breakable spot.

Items are well made but not organized well at all. You will receive five separate low quality ziploc-type bags of rings. I would have expected a divided plastic box. These will easily get lost and mixed up in my boat junk parts box.
