Works great. Hardware is cheap so buy stainless steel nuts and bolts after you receive it. NO INSTRUCTIONS AT ALL. So pay attention to what you're doing or you'll fight with it. If you put on a smaller vehicle like me (2024 crosstrek) you will feel the weight even without anything in it when you go around curves. That's why I took mine off. Also I was afraid trying to go through carwash. I actually wouldn't recommend doing that it could rip the whole thing off. It does seem to be heavy duty.

I bought the 64'' x 39'' x 4'' it was to long for my 2025 Chevrolet Trax So I just removed the center peace and it works great and if I move it to another car, I have a choice on what size it can be. works great. Looks great!!

This isn’t my first time ordering a cargo basket. This one looked so much nice straight out of the box than i previously ordered. Until I unwrapped it completely and realized it had definitely been used and returned. Huge gouge marks all over it. Bent metal. Paint chips. If I could have given no starts I would have. But the 1 star is justified because it’s not flimsy. It’s outer bars are decently thick.

It showed up in a box that was fully intact... Which means all of the damage must have happened BEFORE they boxed it and shipped it. This thing was dinged, dented, bent, and scraped. I needed a rack ASAP, so I decided to attempt to work with it. It went together fairly easily despite having to bend things back into place and work without directions. As I was assembling it I wondered if I had purchased a used rack. The only way I know it wasn't was because it hadn't started to rust yet... that took almost a week. All of that being said, once it was assembled, it was pretty sturdy. It fit my car perfectly. It held all of my gear like it was a custom order. The bolts started to rust after less than a week, and not long after that I was finding rusty drip spots on the roof of my brand new overlander. Once my adventure was over, I took the rack off my roof and disassembled it. I scraped the rust off, sanded all the scrapes and rust spots, primed and painted each part individually. I put caulking in/on all of the seams, and replaced the rusty nuts and bolts with stainless steel. I reassembled the rack, and put another coat of matte black Rust-Oleum over the whole thing. If I had done this step at the initial assembly stage, I could have saved myself a lot of time. But, hind sight is 20/20. A few more things that I tweaked were trimming the length of the u-bolts that hold it to the crossbars and adding snug rubber caps to the ends of them so they don't interfere or damage items carried on the rack. Now that I have jury rigged this thing, I am quite happy with it, and even with the extra time and effort, find it to be well worth the investment. Is it a smug sense of satisfaction with the work I've done? Or is it that this is actually a pretty sturdy safari rack? Especially for that price!

As stated in many reviews, shipping damage is a problem. The small amount of bubble wrap they use is not adequate. As also stated in other reviews, the hardware started to rust almost immediately. However, I got exactly what I expected. It's quality seems to be worth the price. I'll be replacing the hardware and painting the scratches. After that it will be a pretty solid rack.

The product arrive on time and functioned as advertised. There was no damage and the paint coating was intact. There were three issues that should be noted. First, the instructions are very minimal and are in Chinese. But the assemble is very basic so that did not matter if you look at the advertisement photos. Second, the basket itself comes in three sections. I have assembled allot of products. As with any product such as this, you definitely need a rubber mallet to assemble the parts. It needs a bit of a tap here and there to fit the parts to fit together and you do not want to use a steel hammer. So for any roof basket you should order or borrow a rubber mallet if you do not have one - they're cheap as save allot of time, effort, and frustration. Also, there are four metal brackets the hold the three basket sections together, each having two screws and nuts. Two of the brackets only had one hole drilled in them not the required two. I have a small shop with the necessary drill and vise so this was not a problem for me. If you do not have the required tools and are not handy with this type of work, you would have been total P.O.'d and shipped it back. Third, when assembled the product weighs 38 pounds; 28 lbs. would have been better. That is a bit heavy for a single person to put on the roof cross bars to prevent any possibility of dropping and damaging your vehicle, especially on a taller vehicle profile like mine. My roof rack system is limited to 160 lbs. so an extra 8-10 lbs. could make a difference. I went back and checked and there was no information in the product advertisement regarding its weight.

Difficult to assemble! The pieces don't line up. A file was required to make the tubing go together. After the rack was fully assembled, the shape looks distorted and crooked. Yuc!
