This is an awful spring design for something that should be rigid, I built a CNC machine and needed a 1/4" to 1/2" shaft coupler, when I saw these were for CNC I figured it would be the best bet.these have this spring design on them that make the screw not really move until the screw is either completely compressed or entirely stretched (depending on whether the spring is pushing or pulling) and then it boings and pushes or pulls and repeats, making the machine move in hesitant steps.This is simply the worst design for a CNC machine
