I bought this set of screws so that I would have an assortment of screws for various projects and repairs. I specifically got it for the smaller screws. Anyone whoās ever lost a small screw when repairing a modern product knows that you canāt find the tiny screws in a store. I knew it would be a good idea to have an assortment of screw sizes and types for various projects. The smallest screw in this set is the smallest screw I could ever see myself needing in a pinch. Any smaller than that, and it would be the kind of screwās you find inside of computer boards, tiny electronics, and components like that. So if those are the size of screws youāre after, Iād suggest buying a kit specifically for those tiny tiny sizes. This set is perfect for most products youād find on the market, big and small. At this price, itās a worthwhile investment to make. I also purchased a similar kit for machine screws that are NOT self tapping. Between both of these sets, Iām prepared for any screw Iām likely to find.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. The head breaks off every time I tried screwing them into the cupboard door. I bought to put magnets to hold doors closed.

I saw a few bad reviews, so I tried a few of these screws right away and they seem fine. They drive good and are plenty hard. I got the stainless ones, so maybe it's the plain steel ones that are a problem. They came in a nice box with all the sizes separated. The smallest sizes were also in plastic bags, so nothing could get mixed up. There are some really small sizes which should work great for mounting circuit boards. It's the perfect set for my needs.

Wouldn't buy these again if you paid me. Metal is soft like plastic. Heads instantly.stripped. I was screwing one in and the head fell off, the base stayed in the wood. Do yourself a favour and skip these

The screws worked fine- they were exactly as described and of good enough quality to use when refurbishing some old toys. But the pack I got look to have been purchased by someone else and returned- most of the indiviual bags were open and screws were scattered into different compartments.

I do prototype fabrication that often calls for Metric spec fasteners in small quantities. For this I frequently turn to Amazon and generally have several orders "in shipping". Over the past couple of years I've seen the quality of many of Amazon's Chinese suppliers tank. Not all, but many. I have a current project that calls for M4 wood screws, and tried a new supplier, someone going by the name of HanTof. They had an abundance of good reviews, so it seemed it should have been at least an ok product. I always test fasteners before I put them into a project, and this company is the perfect example of why.We've all heard about review farms used for inflating product ratings at Amazon, now I understand them better, as it's the only viable explanation for this product's rating.These screws are beyond bad. I've dealt with cheap pig-iron that was much more durable that this. The first five screws all failed in sequence. (Pics attached) The first one stripped the head out when I was using a composite PA-CF driver. When your supposed "Black Carbon Steel" screw strips from a plastic screwdriver, you have a problem. The next four all failed by shearing when driven into a piece of 1/2 plywood. As you can see in the image the screws never bottomed out, just sheared from being weak.I will remember the name HanTof, as it's a company I'll avoid forever. Don't make my mistake, Run, don't walk, away from anything with this name on it. Because the product was so cheap, it wasn't even worth returning, and went straight to file-13. It's replacements have already been ordered. Not from Amazon, but rather McMaster-Carr. Not as cheap, but they won't ship me the useless trash that Amazon is perfectly happy brokering.I know some will consider this a Xenophobic diatribe on Chinese companies, so I'll toss this in the mix - I've bought a fair amount from another China company, UxCell. To date, their shipments have been quality products.Amazon considers themselves to be the "Everything Store" - everything includes Crap - beware, and avoid HanTof. And remember Amazon Ratings are not reliable.
