This electric magnetic lock consists of an electromagnet and an armature plate used for access control door locks.
By attaching this to the door frame and the armature plate to the door, a current passing through the electromagnet attracts the armature plate, holding the access control door lock shut.
The door will be closed when power is on; when power off, the door will open.
It is suitable for wooden door, glass door, metal door, fire-proof door, Cabinet, etc.

Wiring Diagram
- Red Wire: +NC.
- Black Wire: -COM.
- If you want to test the lock, please connect the red cable to "+12v", and black cable to "GND" of the 12VDC power supply.
- When you install completed access control system kit set, please connect red cable to "NC", black cable to "COM" of the power supply.
The access control kepady, power supply and exit button is not included in the package.If you need it, you can go to the Godely store to buy it!

I know this is supposed to be for doors and keeping things closed, etc...But I don't actually use it for 'regular' use. I've created a 'trick box' as a practical joke. Is it necessarily a nice thing to do to keep a box locked tight until someone finds and presses the proper button? Probably not.But this works great for that. I imagine it'd work great for normal uses, as well.
