Je suis très déçu que le matériel reçu ne fonctionnait pas sur ma Photon S. Un vrai coup de "Pas de chance". Par contre, le vendeur a été super cool et m'a remboursé sans problème (sauf les frais de retour à ma charge, environ 15 € avec assurance à 150 €).Je recommande totalement le vendeur ;)Pour le matériel, je n'ai malheureusement pas pu le tester, mais il semblait très prometteur.

My son followed the video and the instructions, and the worst part was the wiring was preventing the kit to actually FIT inside the small area. The lack of space in the machine is atrocious. Sorry to say I ended up buying a new model from Anycubic, and now that one has fallen under the same Firmware problem as well. I will not be buying anything more from this company.

Bei der Suche nach einem Austauschdisplay für meinen Photon S bin ich auf dieses Upgrade gestoßen. Die Möglichkeit die Qualität, Geschwindigkeit und verfügbare Druckfläche zu erhöhen hat mich dann zum Kauf bewegt.Vor dem Einbau lohnt es sich im Internet die verfügbaren Videos zur Erklärung der erforderlichen Arbeitsschritte anzusehen. Da man das aktuelle Mainboard ersetzt, empfehle ich die Kabel vorher zu markieren, da diese auf dem neuen Board an anderen Stellen und zum Teil mit Adapter gesteckt werden. Der Bauraum ist zwar etwas eng, aber mit Fingergefühl ist es leicht zu bewältigen.Das neue Display kommt ohne Schutzglas oder ähnlichem. Ich habe mir daher mit einer zugeschnittenen Overheadfolie (oder FEP) beholfen und diese zusätzlich zwischen dem Resintank und dem Display angebracht. Das soll im Ernstfall verhindern, dass austretendes Resin das Display dauerhaft beschädigt.Vor dem eigentlichen Druck habe ich die Einstellungen des ELEGOO Mars 2 Pro übernommen und das Offset wie auf der Herstellerseite anpasst. Bereits die ersten Drucke brauchten viel weniger Zeit und gelangen sehr gut.Das Upgrade lohnt sich für alle, die ihren Photon S weiter benutzen wollen, nicht die Ausgabe für das Upgrade und den Austausch scheuen.Bei der Endwertung habe ich einen Stern abgezogen, weil die Endmontage des Displays besser sein könnte, statt nur mit Klebeband zu fixieren. Auch fehlte mir ein ordentlicher Schutz, den ich selbst nachgerüstet habe.

Cool concept. Overrated execution. Took forever to arrive. Screen does NOT, I found out the hard way, have A GLASS protector. You are SOL if you get resin on the screen. You CANNOT scrape it. Get a glass screen protector if you buy this and your model doesn't include one ( they apparently have a SKU that includes the screen protector). Also, my kit included the double stick tape for the frame ( which isn't mentioned in the Chitu video)Connector layouts differ from original Photon board, LCD and touchscreen cables reversed sides of board. Installation is MUCH easier if you remove the bottom as in their video, and ALSO the (machine) right side, which gives easy access to board and cables. The included terminal connectors make it easy to replace or add fans.Also, after upgrading, fans run much louder and do not turn off after print, and sliced file format becomes .ctb. old file formats no longer work. New options to vary UV light output and fan speed in print parameter window, but can't change lift height or speed on the fly now.

Facile da montare con un minimo di manualità. su youtube ci sono i tutorial.Bisogna un attimo stare attenti ai parametri di stampa in quanto monocromatico e non rgb. al momento non ho ancora trovato parametri perfetti.Sul sito chitu ci sono tutte le info. ma il loro supporto (dal sito) è inesistente.

Changed all my prints from 8 sec layers, to 2.5 sec layers. Great prints. The installation process is super simple. Good price too.

This upgrade was fairly easy especially if You have experience taking out the LCD screen from your machine.The upgrade is totally worth it!
