This is not a 5/8” arbor! It is a 1/2” arbor that fits a 5/8” motor shaft.

Purchased a motor but had no attachments, so with this arbor adaptor I was able to attach a lathe chuck to work on my pool sticks, with this adaptor you can also attach a drill chuck.

This motor arbor is of excellent quality, it runs true (within a few thousandth's during revolution) and fit the motor shaft perfectly.

Nice arbor.A light tap with a plastic mallet seated it on the 5/8" motor shaft.Mine has just .005" of run out.

This is the best arbor I have ever used. I use it to hold buffing pads to polish aluminum wheels with my 5/8 grinder. It also works good on my bench grinder too. It is made to be used and, to my sweet surprise, it is made in the US - in Chicago! I will buy more of these so I can have one for each buffing pad I use. Great Arbor!

I looked at a variety of motor arbors before deciding on the Chicago Die Casting. I chose this product because it was cast rather than turned steel. It appears to be more substantial. The close fit on my motor shaft was perfect, no vibration. Good product!

My husband had been looking for a quality replacement 5/8" motor arbor locally and wasn't having much luck so we turned to Amazon. BEST THING EVER.
