I bought two of these plates and cut them to bridge two surfaces on the back of my pontoon boat. Then used angle aluminum to brace the ends and added a piece of plywood to make a motor mount. Now I can put my 6hp engine next to the main pontoon boat engine as a spare if needed. Works great!
