While this replacement strap does come folded up in a small baggie and retains some "memory" when unfolded, the product fit my respirator very easily and, after a few hours of use, no longer tried to fold itself back up again. Full mask respirators are not cheap and they have some parts that wear out far faster than others. I'm glad these are available for folks who don't want to throw the whole mask out just because of a broken strap or faulty valve.
