I have an AO Safety Woodworkers half mask sold under the Sears-Craftsman name from the early 1990s.I use it for all my dusty work; and I'm fortunate that there are suitable filters that fit it.But, the valve disks do wear out; and it was a chore finding one a few years back after AO quit making these masks.I'd hoped that I could also use the outlet valve disks as well; and the are the right diameter; but the stem is too short to use on the AO. I'm sure they'd be great for the modern masks they were intended for.But, I'm happy to have found parts that keep my favorite going for a few more years. After that, I'll have to get dual filter masks to do what my single filter does for me now.
