These are extremely difficult to open. I teach workshops and have to open/close for everyone in addition to having a blister on my thumb when I have to fill 30 some strips with paint. Someone suggested adding a lubricant to the rim. I'll try that before replacing but buyers beware! The only positive is that once you get them sealed completely, the paint stays fresh for a few weeks.

I have a business selling painting kits. I only require a tiny amount of each colour of paint. Other paint pots are much too large and the extra air was causing the paint to dry too quickly. But these are just the right size. I haven’t found anything better, and the price is unbeatable.It’s really important to put a lot of pressure on these and snap them all the way down until the hinge is flat. They require a double check to make sure they’re all closed. But if you do get them closed, they don’t leak at all and they will keep your paint fresh for a year or more.

I would not have purchased 600 if I had realized how small they are. I try to read everything well but when they post cm and mm, it is hard to understand the size. I needed them for paint kits and you just can't get enough paint in each one to complete the image.
