Used this in conjunction with a poly strap to hold my RockWool insulation to the floor joists under my home. They worked absolutely excellent. My contractor was VERY pleased with them, as well. I have to have something that will not corrode, stay strong, and is removable, if necessary, as I live in a flood zone and occasionally have a flood that gets high enough to effect my insulation…..so I trashed my fiberglass insulation and replaced with RockWool. Excellent move…..works excellent.

They work as other plaster washers I've used before, but they are too thin. The first ones I ever bough were out of a NYC hardware in the early 90s. That was the gold standard of plaster washers. It seems everyone has copied them unsuccessfully. They will work but if you don't pre-compress the plaster you're trying to suck back into place only using the washer to pull into place will deform it. Have someone or something prop your lose plaster into place then drill them just short and once they're all positioned gently such each a bit till their all in and secure.
