Amazing blades at a great price. My only complaint is the labeling. Other brands designate stainless or carbon steel on the box. This does not. So, if you use both carbon and stainless for different applications, such as I do, you will need to label these when they arrive.

These are the bees knees of replaceable knife blades, they fit perfectly to my little xacto type flipper unlike a regular exacto blade these have lots of belly for being so small and really how long will a 100 pack last an average user. These are clean and sharp every time, when I need a sharp knife I know that the next one will be as sharp as the one before, love that.

I'll get my complaint out of the way first: The packaging is absolutely terrible. The paper box is apparently made just barely able to hold itself together, because when I opened the bubble enveloper it came in from Amazon, it was pretty much just a bag of loose (individually packaged) scalpel blades. Half or more of them had come out of the box entirely. I had to carefully collect them up, stack them neatly and then get them back inside the box. I then had to literally tape the box together in order to stop it from falling apart again. With that done, its now what I'd expect it to be - a box with a side door to slide out one at a time.So with all that said, the blades themselves are perfectly fine quality steel, and (as you would expect when buying scalpel blades) are beyond razor sharp. Personally I purchased these for a folding pocket knife, which lives on my desk and is my go to blade for just about any random little need you can think of (cutting open packages, stripping wires, etc). The pocket knife simply has a standard #60 blade mount on it, to which these blades mate perfectly and securely. The blades have also proven quite durable, because obviously a scalpel isn't meant for random things like cutting up box or shipping tape, and yet I still have yet to need to swap to a new blade after a month or so having the blade on the knife.Which is all to say that I suspect this (flimsy but taped together) box of blades should last me quite a long time. It would be 5 stars easily if it weren't for the insufficient packaging.

These are excellent scalpel blades - large, durable, sharp, possessing a very long working edge, and very secure on the handles. I bought two #8 handles just to use these, and it took some force to get the blades on, but of course they are now locked well in place! I know cutting fibrous materials like cardboard is a no-no for razor blades, but I did it anyway and found that it was very pleasant work. These blades will just move right on through without binding up - very easy cutting. They will be excellent for craft knives, taxidermy tools, and so on! I expect it'll take me many years to get through these and so I consider them a nice value for the money. I've seen plenty of expensive, trendy knives that never reach the level of performance that these blades have.
