The concept is solid—it helps kids stay on track with routines. The timer works well and the blank checklists and dry-erase parts are super handy. That said, some of the cards are pretty sloppy. Spelling mistakes like “dishwishere” and “madicine” make it hard to trust as a learning tool. A few cards show the wrong image too, so I just set those aside. The timer’s rechargeable and easy to use, but it’s not magnetic, which is odd. It falls off if you tilt the board. Some magnets don’t stick well either.✔ Pros:Flexible and customizableEasy-to-use timerGood for routines and visual planningEngaging for kids✘ Cons:Spelling and picture errorsWeak magnetsNo instructions includedCheap-feeling buildThis review takes a look at the 5-in-1 Visual Timer and Schedule Planner for Kids with ADHD & Autism made by Nixroork.

The perfect schedule tool for my 5-year-old who has both ASD and ADHD. It is very child friendly, very easy to understand. It provided the visual ques and auditory cues that are needed with basic routines that are done daily. My favorite as a mother is the alarm/time. You can utilize it both in volume on mode or off which can be helpful in so many ways especially if one is having an over sensory day or if an alarm sound causes anxiety to a child, which with our boy it does. As soon as he seen this, he loved everything about it. The color, the pictures, the design, all of it.The size is great, no hard to see item for this household. Durable enough for him to do on his own with supervision of course. Not enough words to describe what a game hanger this is.

This thing is really great, it’s a really nice big kid friendly size, easy to put together and figure out, and comes with heaps of chore/task magnets! I love the visual timer, as an adult with ADHD and autism I still struggle with time blindness and visual timers are a huge help.I bought this for my nephew, however I could fully use it for myself if I wanted to! It is great and I wish I had something like this growing up!Before gifting to my nephew, however, I need to go through all of the task magnets and check for spelling errors. I’ve already noticed one (“dishwishere”) and will be hesitant to gift if there are a lot more. 1 or 2 is fine but I don’t want to gift something riddled with typos for a child still learning to spell.Either way, this is a GREAT bundle and tool for anyone with Autism and/or ADHD- especially younger children. I know I would have excelled a lot more in my youth if I’d had something like this to help me.Approved for kids with AuDHD, by an adult with AuDHD.

Both myself and my youngest son have ADHD and SPD so I am always looking for innovative ways to improve our coping skills and daily routine. We have one ADHD Visual Timer/Scheduler already and had such good success with it that we wanted to order a second one so my son and I could each have our own. There are some distinct differences between the two, both pros and cons. This unit has two usable sides. The first side has the visual timer, the check list with sensory check marks, and a space to hang additional notes. The other side is a large whiteboard that is magnetic and will hold the provided magnets as well as makes use of the two dry erase markers included with the set.The set can be used with the stand but also being a flat board it could be mounted and switched back and forth depending on what side to use.The set includes a large selection of task magnets, reward stars, etc. and they are very kid friendly and clear images. Definitely geared towards children (I would love to see one for adults that has more sophisticated or aesthetic images but those aren’t commonly found.)The larger magnets stick very well. The smaller magnets (i.e. the magnet labelled “FIRST.”) don’t fully stick at the edges but they still stick. This is more of a problem for someone like me who has sensory issues and not having the magnet sit smoothly is a distraction. It’s not a large deterrent though. There are also cards that can be hung on the provided ring as well as reusable check lists that fit into the check list section. One feature that is handy is that all the components can be removed. So the visual timer can be taken off the board and carried around. It has its own nook that it sits in.The checklist is magnetic with its own stand and can also be removed for portability. The visual timer is straight forward and works well. I really like that it is rechargeable and that the USB-C cable is provided. It is lightweight and my favorite thing about it is how you turn it off. It has an alarm and to turn it off you depress the top button which is designed to look like a vintage button. It is very satisfying it click it off.One improvement with the visual timer would be if it was magnetic. As it is the timer sits in a nook and it is seated well but if you should forget and shift the board to use the other side the timer will fall out and on to the floor (ask me how I know.)The checklist is easy to use, lightweight and it is rewarding to physically “check” off each task as you complete them by sliding the button. The stand for the checklist is very flimsy though and I could see it being broken very easily with regular use. It’s too bad the same material used for the primary stand wasn’t used to make the checklist stand. The frame of the checklist is the same as the primary board so I’m not sure why the same material wasn’t used for the stand. As a whole this unit is much less stable than our first one and uses a lower thinner grade of ABS so it doesn’t feel as sturdy. However had I not had the first unit to compare against I wouldn’t take much notice. This unit has an adjustable stand that can accommodate using either of the two sides. This is where there is a design flaw - if you want to use the reverse whiteboard then you are limited to how you can angle it because the nook that the timer sits in is fairly deep and will interfere with the surface that the stand sits on. By keeping the angle small the board remains level but increasing the angle to a natural angle for writing results in the board not sitting level with the table. For the most part this would be a very good set with the exception of the magnets. There are spelling mistakes and one magnet that shows a pair of socks but says “Feed Pet.”For my son who is 9 yrs old the spelling errors won’t be an issue but for a younger child who may be influenced by incorrect spelling because they are learning to read this could be a big problem. It was only two magnets out of the entire bunch though and if you really needed to you could just use masking tape and re-write the word with the correct spelling.Overall this could be a good ADHD/AUTISM set for younger children granted the spelling errors and the minor cons listed above aren’t huge issues for you.

In some ways, this is handy for helping my ADHD child know what and when things get done. There are several odd things/mistakes in the kit though so I'm torn. They have two 'Tuesday's' in there instead of a 'Tuesday' and a 'Thursday'. Sometimes the pictures don't match what the words say. For example, there is a picture of socks when it's pet feeding time. It's reasonably durable so I expect it to last a while. You also can't really have things on there that only get done a few days a week without changing it every day. That was a complaint that my 12 year old had. Let's say you have soccer on Tuesday and Thursday, you can't set that up. It's limited to daily things. Which may or may not be an issue depending on how much effort you want to put into changing things on a daily basis. So, based on the flaws and limitations, I'd rate it 3.5 to a 4. It's useful to see what the schedule is and when things are happening. I do really like the silent timer.

If you're looking for a tool that makes organizing daily life simpler and more accessible for children with ADHD or Autism, the 5-in-1 ADHD/Autism planner might just be your best friend! It's the perfect combination of functionality and creativity, designed not just to help kids stay on track but to make the process enjoyable and stress-free.First off, the pictures are a treat! They're simple yet engaging the child without overwhelming them. The visual appeal really adds a positive touch, making the planner something kids will want to interact with rather than something they feel obligated to use.The timer feature is a game-changer! It provides a clear visual display of time, which is incredibly helpful for kids who may struggle with abstract time concepts. This is genius for helping them understand how long they have for tasks, keeping their focus sharp and their minds calm. One of the standout qualities of this planner is how it keeps kids on track effortlessly. Whether it's homework, chores, or downtime, the planner makes it easy to keep the day flowing smoothly. Pair this with its fantastic visual display of the daily schedule, and you've got a tool that transforms organization into an easy-to-navigate adventure!Scheduling things has never been easier. The planner's layout is intuitive and child-friendly, making it simple for parents and caregivers to set up activities quickly. Plus, the way it helps communicate schedules and chores to non-verbal children is truly wonderful. The visual elements bridge the communication gap in a way that words often can't, fostering understanding and independence.Overall, the 5-in-1 ADHD/Autism planner is an absolute gem. With its thoughtful features and engaging design, it turns daily routine into something manageable and even enjoyable. Whether you're scheduling activities, tracking time, or communicating non-verbally, this planner is the ultimate solution for making life smoother and brighter for children with neurodivergent needs. Highly recommend!

I purchased both variations of this product and I am beyond impressed I will list my review for the stand alone timer first, and then review the ADHD kit.First, the stand alone is a great timer. It worked right out of the box with the battery installed (just pull the tab). Very clear visual. As someone with multiple Neuro divergent individuals in the house (myself included) it is very nice to be able to visually see how much time is left. The alarm is also nice. Not too loud, and gives 6 clear beeps that last about 3 seconds total (better than one I got previously that went for minutes). I am definitely pleased with itHowever, I am this most pleased with the full set! Talk about helpful. The whole station is awesome, especially the timer. It is everything I love about the stand alone, but even better. First, there is a switch on the back that lets you choose whether you want to measure by hours, or by minutes. My favorite feature though, is the button on the top, which let's you silence the alarm when you're ready. LOVE THIS! I bought a different timer a few weeks ago that did NOT have a silencing feature, and it has a maddening beep that won't quit for like two minutes. I'm going to hide that one and use these two timers instead. As for the magnets, I LOVE this. It's especially nice to have a clear illustration of the task to help my kiddo who is still learning how to read understand the task. The stars have been helpful too, because we use a star jar reward system, so I can use the magnet starts to show how many starts she can expect to earn when she completed the task. Granted, there was one magnet that almost came apart as I was removing it from the sheet, but apart from that, they've been fairly sturdy. I was amazed at just how many magnets you get too! Definitely enough to cover almost any possible system you'd like to put in place for you or your child.I love the customizable check list too. I don't think it will work at the moment for my 5 year old since she's still learning to read, but it will work for Mom! Lol it also comes with multiple sheets that you can easily change out, so you don't have to erase and rewrite on one sheet. They're also double sided! The best part is that both the check list and the main station have a little much stand to hold them up on the table. And with the magnet on the check list to either stick to the main station or stick to the fridge, the possibilities in how and where you use this is crazy.I'd say the very best part about this whole setup is the number of tools it gives you, and how many different ways you can customize the way you use them. As I mentioned, I'm ready to use some of the tools for myself honestly (when mom is as Neuro divergent as the child is, having a tool that works for both of you is a must!).Over all, if you have anyone with ADHD or Autism in your house, you MUST have this. It will make life easier. You will thank yourself!
