I searched and searched for a modern farmhouse entry bench and this fit the bill perfectly. I was able to fit three black baskets from Home Goods underneath for winter hats, mittens and scarfs. Its assembly was very easy and it is not too heavy.

We received the bench and it’s a solid a sturdy bench. It was simple to put the together and seems like it will last a long time. There was a small dent in the bench from shipping probably and and reached out to customer service and they were quick to respond and resolved the issue quickly.Overall, we love how the bench looks and happy with the purchase.

I recently purchased a black dining bench, and while it looks fantastic in my dining area, it does have a few drawbacks.Starting with the positives, the design of this bench is truly impressive. Its sleek, modern look adds a touch of elegance to my dining space, complementing my decor perfectly. The black finish is both stylish and versatile, fitting seamlessly with various color schemes and dining sets.The bench is also quite sturdy. It feels solid and well-constructed, providing ample seating without any wobbling or instability. This makes it a practical addition to my dining area, accommodating guests comfortably during meals.However, I did notice a few white scratches on the top of the bench upon arrival. These scratches, though minor, detract from the otherwise polished appearance. It's disappointing to see these imperfections on a new piece of furniture. While they're not overly noticeable from a distance, they do become apparent up close and slightly diminish the overall aesthetic.In summary, this black dining bench is a great addition to any dining room in terms of design and sturdiness. However, the presence of a few white scratches on top is a drawback that potential buyers should be aware of. Despite this, the bench still offers excellent style and functionality, making it a worthwhile consideration for those looking to enhance their dining space.

Have purchased this in black and wood color. I use these in my mud room and garage to put and take off shoes. They are built well, very sturdy and look beautiful in my mid century modern home.

Product overall looks nice in your home. Wouldn’t recommend for hard daily use as our kid scratched this with their slipper shoes first day we had it.

The first bench we received had a dented corner that clearly occurred before packaging. That bench also had screw holes that didn't line up on one side. We requested a replacement and the second bench also had a dented corner (pictured). The second bench also has a spot that where the paint/stained rubbed off from a simple wiping of the surface with an unscented baby wipe. The customer service was prompt and kind when sending the replacement but just don't expect to receive a blemish free product. We are happy with the sturdiness of the bench and it is only being used on our kids' side of the table where it won't be easily visible so we will be keeping it. If visibility is a concern to you, I'd definitely recommend choosing a different product or expecting a high probability of needing to return/exchange this one.

The bench is very sturdy and the design is perfect. Simple set and and a easy finish. Even with the product missing a piece the manufacturer quickly shipped out another one quickly to resolve the issue.
