Just started trying to make some bracelets and these needles made it easier to do.

Got this to use with silicone beads and cord, I had 2 break on me, so needless to say they very flimsy and delicate. Maybe I pulled a bit too rough pulling the cord back over itself thru the bead but the other side so does the job like the fully intact ones.Good amount of things for the price as well.

I didn't use these needles for their intended purpose. I was using them with strong fishing line to secure a shade cloth to a security door that wasn't made for it. I was fairly careful with the needles and they did work for a while but I went through them all before I'd finished one quarter of the job. They kept breaking into two pieces and leaving me with a useless piece of wire. Over all wasn't happy with my purchase and later bought larger more solid needles which did the job. However I am sure these needles would be fine if used for what they are designed for and with fabric/wool instead of fishing line.

They came in a hard plastic tube, so they we undamaged by mailing. There are (5) 4.5" needles and (4) 5" needles. The only reason I did not give them 5* is because of their blunt tips. This could contribute to splitting of the thread inside your beadwork, therefore weakening your piece.

These needles may very well be OK for making jewelry but if you need to embellish a needlepoint project, find an alternative. It took me 45 minutes to sew on 3 small pieces to my needlepoint. Each and every one of these twelve needles bent. A waste of money.

I didn't buy this to make jewelry, I bought it to put ribbon through holes in decorative boxes for my upcoming Christmas presents. It worked beautifully! What took 20 minutes/ box without these took less than a minute with them. When you're doing 50-200 boxes it's worth the price of the extra tool! Love them!
Disappointed Merrells customer!

I needed a needle for my stretch bracelets beads with smaller holes. Works very well. Don’t pull too hard on the threaders, broke one first time using.

My 8 year old has developed a sudden obsession with making bead lizards. We have been using that thread people get for embroidery, but using the whole line, rather than taking off a single strand. Because that type of thread separates so easily, he was getting really frustrated trying to get the end through the beads after awhile. I tried using some regular needles that I have at home, but they were too small. I was worried that those plastic needles would be too big for the pony beads, then I came across these bendy needles! These are super cool and a totally new item to me! They are flexible and very thin, but don't feel sharp/pointy on the end. To get them started, you have to kind of pinch them or gently pull the two pieces apart, drop in your string and that's it! The hole snaps closed and holds the string. Since we aren't pulling the string through anything tight, we don't worry about tying the string on (I'm not sure how you would tie it anyway). We put one on each end of the string and away we go making lizards!
