These are assembled pen they are not a pen kit. The write up makes it appear that you can turn your own blanks to make them unique to your own taste in wood turning. But these are run of the mill factory assembled pens from China. They have nothing special that I done on other pen kits.

The product description is misleading, it says these are "Pen Kits" and they are not, these are complete pens. The quality is less that acceptable, the pocket clips are all loose and in an attempt to tighten them in a "pen press" one was destroyed. Not happy with this product at all.

Bought these because they advertised DIY woodturning pen kit. These are complete pens, no assembly required. As a pen kit it would be OK but not DIY. Also 2 of the wood pieced were cracked, so would have returned them either way.

These are not kits. They are complely assembled, functional pens.Buy them if you wish inexpensive complete pens.Expect marginal quality. As delivered the pocket clip of one pen was too bent to be useful. And the clip was made of a metal that had no spring tension.

I’ve owned about 4 of these from Etsy and they have always been perfect and smooth but these things are clunky and barely pass mustard. The people that I’ve given these to as gifts were quite impressed and more than grateful until they felt the difference using my pen from a professional retailer. They get the job done and that’s essentially what I was looking for but a few of them hadn’t even been tightened properly. I would have to say that they’re worth what I paid for them.

I bought these because it said pen kit as in like make the pens yourself. That is NOT what this is the pens are already made. They’re nice pens but the title is definitely misleading for sure.
