Perfect size for what I want. These are being used as displays for my tiny air plants. They are perfect and I will be ordering more.

I’m disappointed in the quality of these wooden drawing mannequins. I’ve purchased A LOT of these, and I have to say that these are probably the worst ones I’ve come across. First, they aren’t balanced well and the stand isn’t heavy enough to support the top part and they fall over. Additionally, the joints are so stiff and tight, you can’t pose them like they’re meant to be used. The only places that move decently are the hands and feet. several of them broke when gently trying to pose them, so now I have a few random arms and torsos without legs. For the price I expected better. I do not recommend purchasing this brand.

These manikins are fun to play around with and can aid in conceptualizing body positions three-dimensionally. I like the way the assorted figures create a community to work with in visualizing people as a group. This set includes three sizes, but the 6-inch and 5.5-inch figures are so close in size that they hardly appear different. I would have preferred that instead of the two 5.5-inch manikins they had included a 12-inch figure. Also, the figures don’t seem to have as much play as my other manikins. Maybe because I have used the older ones more? Finally, Amazon shipped them in a padded envelope, which fortunately only damaged the figure boxes and not the figures themselves. The manufacturer might want to consider packaging the set in a box rather than a thin plastic wrapping so that Amazon uses a box too.
