I see some people have been trying to hammer these wheels into place because they don't seem to fit. (Very snug) But they do. What I figured out is that if you place them over the slot and press down and wiggle them right and left and up and down they will slowly go in. It takes a bit of pressure But it sure beats hammering them and risking breaking the plastic feet. It is therefore nice and snug without the risk of wheels falling off. The metal lip of the wheel should touch the bottom of the saucer.Having said that, I absolutely love these. They are sturdy and strong. I love the fact that they have locking wheels. My porch is cement and not totally even. These roll across the cement nicely and allow me to clean underneath which is a real delight. I would purchase them again if needed.

I love my container garden because I can grow a variety of vegetables in the small patio and deck areas of my townhouse. What I didn't love was that I needed to move the planters around my limited space to take advantage of the moving sunlight throughout the day and throughout the summer. These awesome planters bases solve that problem! They are the perfect size to hold a variety of containers and sturdy enough to hold resin, ceramic, and clay pots. But the wheels, they are the best - very smooth and easy rolling and each set of four wheels includes one that locks to keep things in place when you find the perfect position. I highly recommend these for your container garden!

These potted plant caddies take two minutes to assemble (just plug in the wheels), and make very effective 'vehicles' for potted plants. They are strong and can easily handle 20 - 30 pound pots (just my guess!). They come without drain holes, so they stop any water from draining out. If you want them to drain, they are plastic and you can easily add drain holes by drilling them out.

They are attractive and 2 of the 4 casters are lockable. I haven't locked them so on a storm one rolled of of our patio. Now they are all locked. 🔒 They don't have holes for drainage which is smart it was easy to drill them. If I want to use them indoors I wouldn't want holes.

I would be very pleased with these if I had received all of the wheels. They were, after all, the main reason that I bought this. I had already put most of them together and put under my pots before I realized that I was short a full set of 4 rollers. When I contacted Amazon, I was informed that I would need to send all of them back and could not just get just another set of wheels. Since I am showing my home to sell, I needed them now. I guess 5 are better than none. Otherwise, these seem very sturdy and I'm pleased with the 5.

I grow almost all our veggies indoors year around and use these caddies to easily move the larger pots. Previous to buying this set of caddies, I had been ordering some that cost $11 each, and these cost $5.17 each when buying 6. These caddies work perfectly for the saucers I use for 7 gallon pots and they are exactly the same as the ones that cost twice as much. That being said, I use pot saucers that are 12" at the base and fit perfectly in these caddies. Since the caddies are not deep enough to hold much drainage water, the pot saucers help to prevent the need to dry the floor after the overflow of water. If you are planning to use these outdoors, this may not be an issue.Granted, the wheels are not easily inserted into the base by hand. I use a rubber hammer to pound them in. Once in, the wheels are in and secure and won't come loose. The wheels on these caddies make it extremely easy to move heavy pots of wet soil, and they are easy to direct them where you want them. Since I am growing quite a few large veggie and herb plants, these caddies make it easy to move plants for watering.UPDATE 06/07/23:Unfortunately, I had to return these caddies. My pot saucers for the 7 gallon pots are 12" in diameter on the bottom, and these caddies are slightly less on the interior. So, my saucers did not fit. I had to order 13" caddies for my plant saucers to fit.I hope this review was helpful for you. I will update my review if my opinion changes.

These are sturdy and a good size for larger plants. I love that they have wheels and found them pretty easy to maneuver. However, the holes for casters/wheels are not all the same size, which means some of the wheels fall right out and others take some persuasion to insert but stay put once they are assembled. I bought 6 caddies and roughly half of them can't be picked up or turned over without the casters/wheels falling right off. This made assembling them annoying, but I still like them.
