The warning post is made of high quality PP and PE material, which is frost resistant, corrosion resistant and can resist all kinds of bad weather. It can be used by simply filling 8lbs of water or 12lbs of sand in the base, and can be used both outdoors and indoors.

These were used indoors for light use, but did not hold up well. One base leaked the first time we filled it with water, and other bases cracked and broke very quickly. The stanchion poles themselves are very flimsy and easily broken. The caps at the tops of the stanchions also break easily. Not suitable for anywhere that they might get touched, bumped, or looked at too hard or they'll break.

This held up for a 3 day event very well. I t is not very expensive and you get what you pay for, but it serves us well. I would suggest filling the bases with water instead of sand so that you can transport better, The water bases held up well thru a torrential rain storm and high winds from a not so close tornado.

These were great! I never thought I’d need to buy stanchions, but after a few years of hosting my plinko game for Halloween and its increase in popularity, I needed to do crowd control since kids and parents don’t know how to queue properly. I ended up not using the included chains and used half-length string lights instead to give it a more festive look. This was such a big help! It was easy to set up, and I filled the bases/anchors with water. Some of the bases were missing their tiny spout caps to keep the water from spilling out, but I just let it leak out until the water level balanced itself. It was also easy to break down and compact enough to minimize storage. Looking forward to using them again next year. Highly recommended!

I used this to create a red carpet entry. They are sturdy enough for no water but the least little bump they will fall. So use water very pleased plan to buy another

If you want something that’s lightweight and cheap, these are perfect. I am a wedding photographer, and I needed a way to mark off the spot I do family photos at. These are not going to physically stop anything, but they are a great visual aid. They do have the ability to add water or sand to the base, but they will stand on their own without it (barring a large gust of wind). The instructions were not very helpful, and I had to take them apart a couple times until I figured out how they were supposed to go together. The chains are a good length, and you could probably connect two together to make it even longer. These would be perfect if you need something for one or two events. If you are wanting something that will last, you might look at the metal options.
