I don't care to do tile work but sometimes there not much choice. However, if I'm going to do the work, it has to be done right and the results need to be high quality. Cut tile generally leaves ragged edges which are just not acceptable. Although somewhat skeptical of these polishing pads, I decided to give them a go and I was truly amazed at how well they worked. Wet polishing and even light cut correction made the chore much simpler and gave great results. The pads held up during use and I didn't notice any loss in effectiveness.

I use these mostly for metal work. So far they've worked well.

You can use these on just about anything really. Obviously the diamond is tailored more toward tile, ceramics or glass.Easy to use on flatter surfaces but not great for curved areas unless its a very gentle curve.Seem to last a good while, but they do clog up with debris which you can blow out with air fairly easy.

These are a unique idea. I make mosaic concrete mushrooms and other mosaic and sometimes need to smooth out some areas of the project after it hardens. I tried one of them on a chalk painted glass vase and it worked well getting paint off areas that I want to expose the glass.

Great for knocking off rough edges on tile.
