These hooks are very sturdy and handy, exactly what I wanted and expected. I thought they were a good value for the price I paid.They are painted black and are well-coated with paint. One end has a rubber tip.I definitely would purchase again.

Sometimes, on a closet rod, it us just easier to hang something on a hook than to get or use a hanger. I had some hooks like this and wanted more. These were a much lighter gauge than the wire of the others I have, but I have used these and feel they are more than adequate for the task. These are the same overall dimensions as the ones I already owned (except for the wire gauge). They were a good value, and well worth the cost.

I have a drawer full of S hooks. They are great to hang things on all my rolling metal racks in the basement. I also use them on a wrought iron planter to hang things on. One large one went into the shower to hang on the grab bar-it holds the squeegee for ease of access. I loved them so much, I also bough the next smaller size.
