These 6 inch numbers are actually 5 5/8 high but sitll easy to be seen well. The metal is heavy and good quality. The hardware supplied and Instructions for mounting are for mounting directly to a wall. But if you wish to mount these on a back-lit panel you will need to get screws of length depending on your panel thickness and whether you plan to use stand-offs. Each number takes 3 screws ( possibly not the "1" ). The screws are 8-32 and the thread depth on the numbers is 1/4".It would have been nice if the vendor had drawings with dimensions ( height, width & thickness ) and screw sizes for each number. Some DIY people may want to use these on custom panels or mounting surfaces.

These were nice and large, easy to install (I installed mine into wood with pre-drilling to avoid splits) and align with the included guides. I'll reserve judgement on their longevity as they've only been installed for a couple of weeks.

Ordered with additional numbers in this set. The 1 is not metal. It’s a plastic or wood composite. Has a different finish and the spacers were different from the other numbers. Disappointed.

These house numbers were perfect for my DIY flower box address plaque. They have held up very nicely in the AZ heat and are great quality for the price. They were also super easy to install. 10/10

I couldn't believe the prices of ugly numbers at big-box stores, so I waited and ended up with these. For 4 digits it was very fairly priced, and the installation is a breeze. I went with the raised format and love how it looks. No regrets, recommended product.

They are attractive and appear to be well made. Be aware that they stand away from the wall by about 1/8th inch, which worked well for our application.
