I have a set of 3 of these closing a 36" solid core door. They are plenty strong for even a larger, heavy door like that. They did take a little adjustment to get them in nice alignment so they didn't bind, but once I got them dialed in, they just work flawless. Love being able to push the door open from both directions.

These hinges are very heavy duty and have powerful spring action. I don't have the hand strength required to set them while installing, but it was easy for my husband. I used these for the laundry room doorway and they work great, although they do swing back with some force so I use caution if anyone is following behind me. I love that I no longer have to use a doorknob while my hands are full going in and out of the laundry room, it is so much easier with the swinging doors.

They are great hinges, but they did not work for me. It was not the hinges,it was my doors.,

Once you lose the adjusting screw you’re screwed. They’re worseless after that
