I’ve ordered five of these now. Only one did not arrive cracked. Check them carefully for cracks on the bottom upon delivery. The bottle itself has a beautiful design. Just be real careful with these if you get a good one. I would recommend a neoprene wrap or base.

I ordered this 6-gallon carboy with high hopes, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. First off, the carboy itself is far too heavy and cumbersome to handle.. Once filled, it's nearly impossible to move without risking a spill or injury. It’s extremely inefficient to use.The real frustration, however, came when I tried to return it. I reached out to customer service to initiate the return, but the experience was just as bad as the product. It was incredibly difficult to get in touch with a representative, and when I finally did, they were unhelpful and dismissive of my concerns. They made the return process more complicated than it needed to be, adding to the stress of an already poor purchase.Overall, this was a regrettable purchase, and I wouldn’t recommend this carboy or the seller to anyone.

The product arrived far before the estimated delivery date. The quality is quite solid (and heavy!) The glass is thick and solid as well. When holding it up to the light you can see a few very very small impurities in the glass but nothing that anyone should be concerned with. We're talking about bubbles that are less than 1mm in diameter and enough of them to count on one hand, just solid everywhere else. The color isn't 100% clear, it does have a slight tint to it but it's nothing to be concerned with. After all, we drink beer from dirt brown bottles, right?

These are high quality, Italian glass carboys. By definition, the glass is thin to keep the weight manageable - so don't bang them into other hard objects. I have lived in Italy and worked with much thiner versions that are really fragile! These are quite robust in comparison.

I appreciate the volume that this Carboy can hold. It arrived at my home sooner than the expected delivery date and without any damage at all. I've since purchased a 3rd one from Midwest Homebrewing Supplies and I am always pleased with the products and the speed of delivery. While these Carboys seem like they are thin and fragile, they have been a joy to use and I've had no problems about lifting and placing full carboys when I use the additional handle that is designed to fit this product. If ever I need another Carboy, I will be returning to this Supplier to get more of these.

They shipped this will excellent packaging, padding inside of a box, inside of a larger box with my padding. It came to me in one piece, no cracks, and the top was taped shut to keep contaminants out. These are tough to come by where I live so its worthy paying the seemingly crazy shipping costs vs me driving 2 hours away (and spending the gas) the pick these up myself at the nearest supplier. I use mine for wine making as most grape juices I buy are 6 gallon buckets and my 5 gallon carboys force me to waste too much wine (or you know, partition it into smaller 1-3 gallon jugs.
