I was a little nervous at first using this 6" wide embossing folder as my machine is just 6" wide. I didn't know if it would really have enough pressure to emboss all the way to the edges but it did, so I was quite happy! The first try was just using plain paper so I could figure out what I needed for shims. Because it is a 3D embossing folder it doesn't work with shims called out in my machine's instructions. (My machine does not not have instructions for 3D embossing.) Once I had the shims right I went to some better paper, still copy weight and got good impressions. I couldn't find my fancy lightweight glitter paper or I would have tried that, I'm sure it would have worked fine though. In order for me to test this folder with thicker paper I would have had to experiment with the shims some more so I didn't get around to that. I'm sure the folder would have performed just fine on heavier paper with the right shims.Highly recommended.

I got this 3D embossing folder through the Vine review program. It makes for a great card. It is 6" x 6" but if you want to, you can trim it down as long as you keep it centered both vertically and horizontally. I want to try painting the baubles and perhaps add some rhinestones and/or glitter to make it extra special. Of course, you can make all kinds of effects with embossing cards such as this one. If you are unsure, you can do a search for them as there are some really great techniques that you can use with embossing cards.I also bought the Regal Frame 3D embossing folder. I did have to work to get the right die cut. It is also 6" x 6". It was beautiful. I want to try it again using some brown or wood look paper and then use some of my gold gilding wax to make it look like a gold leaf picture frame. Then make something for the flat center to give it the look of the Old Masters. Even though it was more work to cut out, etc. I will enjoy using it.My apologies for the delay in reviewing these items. When the after Thanksgiving, November 29, 2024, snowstorm hit, we were in the middle of it. We got 5 feet of snow initially and got another 1-2 feet in the following days. The snow plow took out our mailbox on its first pass as well as blocking us in our home for days so that we couldn't get out to get our mail being held at the Post Office until, December 17. It took over an hour to open it all and open my Vine/Amazon packages. What Fun! I think I have had enough winter already.I appreciate the opportunity to try out these great dies. Thank you.

This is a pretty embossing folder for card making, scrapbooking and other forms of paper crafting. This folder is well made with both sides fitting together perfectly for a flawless design. It is suitable for backgrounds or cutting as necessary to create borders and/or margins.

This works really nicely. I have a small die cut machine and it’s small enough to fit in that. It’s 6”x6”. You could cut the middle out to frame over a picture, or could lay a picture in the inside of the frame. The space inside the frame is about 3”x3” in the middle

Six by six inch frame is nice for square cards. Provides deep embossing details as shown. Be sure to mist Cardstock to avoid cracking. Good folder.

I love embossing folders. They add a huge amount of texture and design to a card. This one is wonderful for Christmas! These ornaments are a great background element or with a fancy sentiment would serve as the cards primary design. The baubles can be colored or, as I did in my photo, the flat side of the folder can be inked to stand out from the baubles as a colored background. I could add rhinestones, glitter or other elements to make this a very special card.The folder worked perfectly. I had to shim it a little in my manual die cutting machine, and it did a great job.The quality of the folder is excellent. I am very happy to have this in my stash of holiday design possibilities.
