It literally doesn’t work with any piece of hardware in existence if you’re trying to transmit MIDI. Wasted hours of my time with this trash.

Didn’t work at all. I tried with a few different devices and there is no signal.

This cable is complete trash that’s non functional. I wasted hours trying everything and reading online forums to try to connect my sp 404 makes II to my volca sample with no luck. I ordered the Roland version of this cable and instantly synced my units. This bs cable is criminal . DO NOT BUY!!!

I didn’t read the reviews before buying. They’re right, this cable I bought doesn’t work with MIDI type A or MIDI type B connections. Also there is feedback noise coming out of whatever I plug this into I don’t even know how that happens.

This was supposed to be a MIDI "A" a1/8 to mDIN cable. It did not work when hooked up to my Launchkey Mini Mk3 then connected to MC-101. I ended up ordering a MIDI A 1/8 to fDIN MIDI and connected my mini kehyboard to the adapter, then the adapter to a standard MIDI cable, then the cable to my MC-101 and that connection worked fine. I have returned it.

This is neither a Type-A or Type B MIDI Adapter, the pin connections do not follow the MIDI standards. MIDI pin 3 on this adapter connects to the ring; a Type-A adapter has MIDI pin 4 connected to the ring, a Type-B adapter has MIDI pin 5 connected to the ring. Type-A is the 'new' standard.
