It works however you have to hold the cup while it blends as it comes off the notches created for it to remain secure. Our original Ninja cup continues to fit without holding the cup. Both of the two we purchased here have the same issue. I noticed the impression on the plastic cut bottom is not original Ninja probably why. The other issue is the plastic absorbs odors much more readily than the original. My husband is guilty of only rinsing and re-using his every morning but even when I started thoroughly handwashing it because I noticed it smelled bad up close, I washed it and soaked it in hot soapy water which did not do much to remove the odor and then put through our Bosch dishwasher on sanitize three times- protein drinks made with water, that we made have caused a sour smell retained in the plastic

I bought it on Aug 20, 2024 and for the past month the blade attachment has been leaking out the bottom and now it’s starting to rust (even though I clean it after every use). I know the return period is 30 days, but I think it’s reasonable to expect the item to last more than a couple of months.Update: After I reached out, Equust replaced it at no cost and I had it within a few days. Very good customer service and I'm pleased with the speed of the replacement coming.

Needed to purchase a new blade to replace the original one we’ve had for the past eight years. I don’t know how or why, but this blade cap rusts. And not in the place you’d think! The blade itself is fine, but the underside, or outside, of the cap constantly dries leaving what I can only describe as rusty water everywhere. We’ve checked for leaks or exposed components at the base of the attachment but haven’t found anything obvious that we can see that would cause this. The worst part is, no matter what, it’s there to stay. You wash all the rust water off, dry it to the best of your ability, but there’s always a little water left that leaks out from wherever it’s getting trapped that leaves new dried rust water in its wake.

The cup that came with our ninja blender cracked and being that we drink smoothies everyday we needed a replacement quick! These were the perfect size cup. The blade that came with it didn’t fit our blender but I still had the old blade and it fit these cups great so it wasn’t really an issue. We should probably order a couple more!
