Didn't need 5, but it was cheaper this way. Hose barb fits 1/4 inch hose very well, almost don't need clamps. Threads are as good as any other fitting, don't be afraid of these fittings.

i only needed one of these to install a ai9r pressure source on a Kohler engine to run a fuel pump for a engine that did not run right on a gravity fed fuel tank. These are very nice fittings..anyone need four of them?
