We have a Brother P-Touch model PT-1880 that we bought a few years ago. These replacement cartridges drop right in, and the black on white print quality is excellent. At 12mm in height, these tapes are two-thirds the height of the ones I had previously used but are perfect for my parts drawer labeling project. The package indicates that the cartridge has 8m of tape, and with my labels being ~6.5cm (please see photo), I expect a single cartridge to yield over 120 labels- possibly more if I print several labels on a single piece of tape.

I ordered this to use with my Ptouch Cube label maker. The refills look very similar to the branded option and fit inside my label maker without issue. The only “wrinkle” is that my machine wanted to read it as yellow tape with black ink for the preview but it doesn’t affect printing so it’s a harmless quirk.The label is similar in quality to the ones produced by the branded refills. I haven’t tested one long term to see if there’s a difference in longevity but I don’t expect very significant differences based on the feel. This multipack appears to be a good value both winning the third party and branded options.

These TZE231-compatible label tapes fit my Brother PT-2040 perfectly and print just like the originals. The black-on-white text is crisp and long-lasting, even on surfaces that get handled a lot. Easy to install and the backing peels off cleanly. Great value for a 5-pack—I’ve already labeled half the store room with no issues.

These refills come in a 5 pack box. Each refill is packaged separately and comes with detailed instructions.The refills themselves are the same shape and size as OEM TZE series refills, and was a direct replacement into my TZE series label maker.Installation was easy and I was soon off to the races to print off and label storage boxes going into the attic.The labels print clearly and smoothly with no issues whatsoever. The labels also have the split backing on them, making removing the backing to expose the adhesive side very easy.The adhesive seems to be on-par with the OEM label refills and appears to be handling the heat of the attic without any issues, as none have fallen off or bubbled up on the plastic containers or cardboard boxes.I would recommend for anyone looking for a direct replacement refill for their Brother P Touch TZE series label maker!Five Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
