This is a fun little novelty gift for any archery enthusiast or bow hunter in your life. It’s kind of mind blowing that it’s so small yet fully functional, and it’s honestly a higher quality than I expected. It’s priced right, and has the expected amount of power and accuracy for what it is…a toy. I wouldn’t try to use it to take care of any pesky squirrels or anything, but it’s definitely a good conversation piece.

I am into archery and I couldn't resist this. It is a really cool, somewhat functional toy. However, it is not very durable and will probably only hold up to light use. If your child is playing with this a lot, it will probably not last too long. I'd recommend you make your child wear safety glasses while playing with this in case something snaps. The arrows that came with mine have to be assembled and they leave a lot to be desired. The price now is 2/3 what it was when I ordered it. I'm guessing this is related to the negative experiences people are having. Having said all that, it is a really cool looking toy and appeals to people like me maybe just for display purposes.

I was like "Hecks yes I need a mini compound bow for shooting apples and things while I am baored!"I was not wrong. This is great, and a lot of fun to just sit and play with. One thing I will be doing is either 3D printing arrows or crafting them to be more inline with an actual arrow, not that the little makeshift ones you get with this are bad, I just think I can do better. One thing I do think the bow is missing is an arrow rest. With how small it is I think that would have gone a long way since you can't really grip it the way you would a full size bow and thus cannpt rest the arrow on your knuckle. Other than that this bow is one to one with an actual compound bow and really cool to see and use. So far it is safe to shoot with no injury to fingers drawing the string back or releasing it and it works incredibly well. Honestly I am really happy I got it because I have been a fan of archery since I was little and have a competition recurve bow that doesn't really allow for shooting in the house lol, but now I can set up targets around my room and just shoot them from bed. Yes, I am a man child. lol.

basic plastic shaft arrows with metal but blunt heads on them. still very dangerous if shot at people or breakable items but for a play toy for an adult or just to arm your American girl doll with super fun.

11 year old daughter wants to get into archery. Was easy to set up. Has 3 real arrows and 3 practice arrows. She loved it. The cost was just right for starting a new hobby. Would definitely buy again.

The bow was brought for an 8 year old grandson. We soon found out our 10 &12 year old granddaughters loved it just as much. We were told that archery was their favorite activity at summer camp last year. A real hit!
