I just simply cut off the old serpentine belt and use this item to install the new one.

Not at all universal. May fly off and cause injury. Magnet is weak and doesn't even hold the weight of the device.

This Stretch Belt Remover/Installer Automotive Universal Aluminium Alloy Front Back Side is nice. This tool make it easy to install and uninstall stretch belts. This does work great.
