HROMIGRY Heavy Duty Wedge Concrete Anchors

  • Our wedge anchor bolts for concrete are available in diameters of 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 1" and are available in zinc plated carbon steel and stainless steel to make the through bolt resistant to rust.

INSTALLATION TIPS:

1. Be sure to drill the hole straight.

2. Thread nut to the desired depth before hammering to avoid damaging the thread and knocking too deep.

3. Once the anchor is inserted, it will not be easily removed due to the expansion clip.

4. Choose the right size drill bit, drill the hole that is the same diameter as the anchor, larger hole may cause the bolt to rotate during tightening.

5. You can drill the hole slightly deeper than the entire length of the anchor, so that if you want to remove the anchored item later you can hammer the anchor down into the hole.

not bad for the money and I am using them to hold the interior wall framing to the concrete floor of my new home. Seems to be working just fine and my code inspector has approved for me to use them. I would buy again if I need them.

The HROMIGRY 1/2" x 5-1/2" Concrete Wedge Anchors are excellent for securing buildings or machinery to rock or concrete. I successfully use them on my farm in local sandstone. They are easy to use.

These were just what we needed to reinforce a high-traffic area of the dairy holding pen. No complaints. These were good, high-quality concrete anchors that will keep the barn up - probably longer than we need it!

This is a nice big 50-pack of concrete anchors. I have a crack in the concrete pad on which our house is built -- the usual way houses are constructed in Arizona where there are virtually no basements. Once I got up the tiles that were starting to rock on that raised crack, I used an angle-grinder and concrete grinding wheel to take down the lips of the crack and even up the floor. Then I used a masonry bit to drill vertical holes every 7 or 8 inches along that crack , 1/2-inch diameter. I installed these bolts in the crack and turned down the nut so the accordion metal wedge on it would open u. Then I squirted 2-part epoxy around each bolt and along the crack to cement and seal it. I hope that crack will not move again! After that I reinstalled the tiles. You could use these quality anchor bolts for all kinds of projects.

These structural concrete wedge anchors are excellent quality. They include washers and nuts installed and ready to go. The blue line on them is the minimal insertion depth, so make sure you are below that depth when hammering them in. I have the 1/2" x 5 1/2" anchors and the dimensions are accurate. These are zinc coded so I wouldn't use them for anything exterior or interior areas where you might get water.I'm going to use these to secure bottom plates on walls I'll be erecting in my basement as part of a renovation. A tip I've always followed when installing these - after drilling the hole for the anchor, always suck out the concrete dust in the hole. Any dust left in the hole will affect both the operation of the anchor and the final depth. Also, never drill through the concrete slab completely so that the anchor sits below the slab, it must bottom out in solid concrete. I recommend these anchors.
