These valves broke immediately once they were placed under pressure with the damage being both irreversible and complete, preventing any further functioning of the valves. Before going into details, I would like to offer a disclaimer that I did not use these valves in a fuel line system, but instead placed them into a sprinkler/drip system. However, the description of these valves states that they can handle up to 87 PSI, which would indicate that they should operate under that pressure regardless of the fluid. Instead, at 40 PSI (the lowest pressure I tested them at), the water not only flowed in the wrong direction, but also destroyed the internal mechanism, preventing any further use.In summary, I would give these valves 0 stars if possible for two reasons. The description contains a blatant lie regarding the operating PSI. Additionally, the valves are incredibly fragile, resulting in complete destruction rather than simply failure allowing reversal of flow.
