I could not crack my rear window when it was raining or water would come in. The deflector installed easy and does just what I wanted it to do - deflect rain! Good price for a harder to find deflector.

Received this quickly. Seems like strong plastic...not cheap. The 3M tape is pre-installed, comes with alcohol pad for cleaning and instructions. Havent installed it yet...waiting for warm weather.UPDATE...This looks amazing on a 2010 Sport Trac....very easy to install and feels very sturdy.Happy i decided to buy this even though Amazon states it WILL NOT FIT!!!

I own a 2002 Sport Trac "Pioneer" that had the Ford rear window vent but after 14 years and hundreds of car washes, exposure to elements, it cracked and started to pull loose. I looked through out the internet for a replacement vent with no luck to fit an 02 model. Tried Amazon on a whim and found a dealer that had one! Amazon's trade mark "From A to Z" is true! The install wasn't as easy as some had indicated as I was replacing a vent and had alot of old adhedsive to try and remove. The glue strip on the vent couldn't fill in the spaces, so had to add gasket (black silicone) glue to hold the vent in place. Instructions says to place the vent on painted surface but the roof stop light did not leave enough space to put it there. The original vent was glued to the weather stripping. After taping it down and two days later, the vent felt solid and looks great. It is wider than the Pioneer vent and does crop more of the rear window, but does not interfere with the full view. If you need a rear vent, I can recommend this one. Hopefully, it'll last awhile.

I really have no complaints with this deflector. It fits perfectly on my 2008 Explorer Sport Trac, despite Amazon warning that it does not fit. If you follow the directions you should not have any issues with it coming loose. The double-sided tape is very strong and I was unable to reposition it after it put it in place so it is a couple of millimeters off to one side but is not noticeable unless I point it out. Had I followed ALL of the instructions it would not be out of place. My mistake, not the manufacturer's.Pros:Fast installLooks goodKeeps rain out of rear windowCons:So far, none.

I have looked everywhere for a rear vent for my 2005 Ford Sport Trac. This is about the only one i could find. It works fantastic. It fits perfect around the rear window on the rubber seal. I often leave my window vented, which keeps my car noticeably cooler. It has gone through a few rain showers and while the mist off of the rain does saturate the whole window it does not soak my back seat. It does impair rear visibility slightly but not a deal breaker by any means. I would recommend this product to any owner of a 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac

This rain deflector is a stylish addition to my 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac (even though it is listed for a 2005). It is easy to install and it helps to keep rain water from entering my truck when the rear window is opened. I would recommend it to others.
