Great fit for the portafilter on our Breville Barista Express BES870XL and it makes corralling the freshly ground coffee MUCH easier! 100% worth it in terms of less mess.A little disappointed that one of the “teeth” that holds the funnel to the portafilter has broken after only 3 months of use. However, there are still 2 other “teeth” and the funnel still fits snugly to the portafilter, so we’re still using it.Durability: 5/10Ease of use: 10/10Effectiveness: 10/10Value: 6/10Unsure whether I would buy this funnel from the same company, but I will definitely replace the funnel when it breaks.

It works and it does the job, you will not have the mess of coffee grinds every time you use your Breville.I bought both this and the stainless one. This one looks a little flimsy compared to the stainless.But, I am sure over time the stainless will start scratching things.So, if you are a little OCD, this is a great option. If you want something solid (which I am not sure why it matters) I would get this one.

Fits perfectly on the portafiller for the Breville Bambino Plus. Before getting this, it was impossible to load my portafiller without making a huge mess of coffee grinds. Frankly I'm mad at Breville that I had to go and buy something like this since it would be a small cost for them to mass produce and it's 100% essential. Without it you will lose a significant amount when loading and distributing the grinds. I originally bought a metal one and returned it because it was too hard to twist on and the edges were really sharp. This one pops on and off easily and I'm not going to cut myself on it. Will the plastic tabs break off eventually? Almost certainly. Will I be purchasing another one when that happens? Absolutely.

This fits perfectly on the portafilter for my Breville Barista Pro machine and it is a brilliant invention that is very well executed.In order to adequately fill the Breville portafilter, one needs to grind enough beans to make it overflow and then tamp it down. This is a messy process since you are almost guaranteed to drop some of the grinds and then you may need to repeat the process to get enough in the filter. Enter the dosing funnel... It catches all the grinds and lets you tamp them down with zero overflow and mess. You get the right dose the first time with minimum hassle.This thing looks like it was designed by the engineers at Breville rather than an aftermarket accessory. It is made of a high quality, precision molded plastic that is easy to take on and off of the portafilter. Breville should seriously consider licensing this design from the inventor and including one with every machine they ship.I love that it made in the USA too!

Fantastic idea : saves spilling coffee grind, allow tramping again without spill.Sturdy and easy to install.Suggested improvement : the plastic portion used to start the process could be made larger, about the same size as that of the metal holder, as it is you have to occasionally wiggle the unit to trip the grinder switch.All in all: well worth the money !!

I'm using this with a Breville Barista Touch.It clips on to the portafilter easily. The extra tab that this funnel has, that most others don't, in a nice convenience that makes it that much easier to pop on and off.I grind the coffee and do an initial tamping with the funnel in place. The I pop the funnel off and do a final tamping. Cleanup is just a simple wipe around the inside with a damp sponge.Other reviews mention this, but it does indeed to an amazing job and reducing the mess while grinding and tamping. There are no grounds left around the machine or on the counter.The only minor negative is that the ridge on the front which hits the button to start the grinding is a little smaller than the one on the portafilter, and so you have to be a bit more firm when you click in, but it doesn't take much time at all to get used to that, and the benefits far outweigh this minor fault.
