I have used Kanberra for a number of years since I learnt that it will keep mold and mildew at bay. Works wonders in wet areas and one can use it in the storage compartments on your boats and inside your camper trailers to keep it free of molds. It also has a lovely smell.

This stuff is amazing. We have different size ones in all the closets and anywhere there is fabric (suitcases, cushions, golf bag, sleeping bags) in a storage space. We had trouble with mold from lack of airflow several times, but since we added one to each space everything is fine. It’s expensive but worth it!

It smells good for very small places not for larger spaced apartments. The smell doesn't linger and product didn't last a month. I really thought it would help eliminate the cigar smoke from neighbors.

I’m pretty picky about smells around me, but a friend had recommended this for musty basements. In my case, I recently bought a used office cabinet that had a slight smell, not obnoxious but still noticeable. So I tried putting one of these canisters inside the cabinet. After a week, the original smell has been reduced by at least 80%. The Kanberra Gel has a fairly strong but what I term “neutral” smell that helps mask if not eliminate other smells.

I can't believe how quickly this product cleaned up the smell of some seriously strong mildewy-like aroma - smell great too...

I have not used this a lot because it has quite a pungent scent, and I can't be in the same room with it. Fortunately, it really does seem to dissipate bad smells quickly, and when moved to a different location, the scent of the gel does not linger. This was a fairly small jar, and I am curious to see how it does with the odor in my basement, and how long it will last. I probably should have bought either a larger jar or two jars for different parts of my basement, but I felt it was too expensive to do that until I am able to do something permanent to waterproof my basement and remove the damp moldy smell.

I have 3 cats, 2 litter boxes and a Litter Robot. I keep a 4 ounce Kanberra Gel near the litter boxes in the rooms that the litter boxes are in and it does a superb job. If Kanberra Gel made filter inserts I would buy them to put inside the Litter Robot. Keeping them nearby doesn’t help at all unfortunately.

I've been hearing about Kanberra gel for quite some time on a radio home repair show. Definitely removes odor! I use an 8 oz near my cat litter box and another near the dog kennel. AAANNND I literally put one down in a floor vent of my 160 year old house to remove any damp basement smell coming through. I purchased the refill bag which is helpful and another tub for the smelly old basement but I'll need more. My only complaint is the ridiculous cost. It's very expensive. I wish, for the cost, the tubs were bigger.

My cabined sail boat was in recent hurricane. It exited a boat slip at a marina and was found in the woods two months later, with standing water in the cabin(from the rain not salt water). Though it had some mold in it, it was surprising limited and I was able to clean it out. I had put a jar of this inside about three months before the storm, and sitting on a table. I can only imagine what the inside of the boat would have looked like without this stuff. By the way, open it up and it will clean out your nostrils. Very strong, but pleasant smelling and safe to breath.

We put three on our boat when we store it for the six months of winter here in Michigan and the boat smells great in the spring and no mold has grown anywhere!
