We used these to hold down our carport with heavy duty ratchet straps during hurricane Milton. Had to rent a concrete drill, but worth every penny for these, the straps, and drill!

First off the hole needed to put these anchors in should be 1/2 inch in diameter and then prior to hammering it in put some anchoring adhesive in the hole then the anchor and be careful when hammering it in the shaft will bend. Then tighten it down and when the adhesive dries it will not move and stay for good.

I bought these anchors not for a wall but for my carport. I just had it cemented recently and needed a couple anchors in the ground to hold and be able to clip in a privacy tarp. This worked perfectly. I drilled a deep enough hole in the cement and tapped this in and then turned the eye hook to expand the anchor. It is solid!, stays in place. Now I'm able to clip in the tarp with carbiners and I can remove the eyehook so I don't trip over it when I'm not using it. It's solid and a good deal and a win win for me.

I installed these anchor eye bolts into concrete and they are anchored solid. The metal is stainless steel which will hold up to weather really well.

Easy to install, only downside is if you tighten to much it may loosen up inside
