I got these for my EMT class, I got a size 4 and I’m 5’6 and they run a little short. When you bend over or sit down, they tend to hike up. I personally don’t like that so I should have gotten a 4 long.They are also a little snug. I’m typically a size 4 in regular jeans but with these you got to do some shimming to get them over the thighs.But other than that they are great and I love the deep pockets!! Definitely will be buying these again.

The durability is great, and the pockets are awesome. I will say, the fit is not my favorite on the pelvis. It rides a little lower on the hips than I'd like and it is pretty tight in the crotch area, but fits well elsewhere. The zipper is short, so yanking these bad boys on in the middle of the night is a bit harder than some other pants. I'd suggest maybe sizing up one. But with that said, I've had these pants for 4 years and they are still going strong, I definitely recommend the 5.11 brand.

My favorite brand. But I ordered a 4, because I'm always a 4, and I had to return it because it was tight in a way that made it uncomfortable to kneel and squat. I'm 5' 5" 125lbs.

They’re basically true to size, which is great if they weren’t tactical pants that you needed to move around in. There’s essentially no give in the groin area and they aren’t very comfortable. I needed them in a pinch and they worked but I do not see them being a long term wear since they will not work for what I actually need them for.

These pants are good quality and material. Fit is OK as well. My only issue with them is that they are very, very, thick and heavy. Not the greatest for warm weather but I will keep these on reserve for the colder months.

second pair of these. I work 24hr shifts and these are by far the most comfortable pants to be stuck in for that amt of time! super durable, expandable waist, and plenty of pockets!

These are fantastic pants! I am an EMT student and needed these for class. I am 5'6" and 101lbs. I was torn between a 2 & 4 and figured I would go bigger first and if they didn't fit send em back and go down a size. I glad I went with the 4 because they fit life a glove :) I did refer to the 5.11 site as well for a size guide and I was actually at a 2 but did decide to go up. A lot of my cop friends told me these are the best pants to use in the field because you never know what you're going to get on you and these keep the ick off

Got these promptly in the mail and the fit is just right [I'm 5'6" 120 lbs, size 4] due to the fact that I tried a couple different sizes on at a uniform store. This is my second pair of 5.11s because I loved my first pair so much but the top button popped open a lot and I accidentally bleach wiped them after a particularly nasty patient. Aside from the button thing I think 5.11s are tough and well designed.
