The plate is beautiful and is in good shape. However, all of the plate is in pewter/silver trim instead of yellow gold.Update, the company offered to send me another plate if need be, but the couple that I bought it for like it as is.My husband commented that if you look at it in the right light, it might have a bit of a pewter color to it.

I ordered this plate for my parents' 50th year anniversary and when they received it, they were thrilled. They took a few pictures for me and since they had been avid collectors of souvenir plates and spoons over the years, they stated that not only is the etching top-notch but that the plate's size is perfect for them as a keepsake and to display.I, and they, highly recommend this product!
