I'm a sucker for hardware that comes in its own storage container, so I'm loving the plastic jar these come in. Jar is roughly 3-7/8" diameter and 2-7/8" tall. These are brown winged wire nuts, so they are made with the funnel shaped threaded receptacle to accommodate a wide range of wire sizes (22awg-8awg). Good news is the wings, which lets you crank down on them to ensure a tight fit.Advertised as a jar of 100. I tested that and poured them out and counted. I only got 5. Just kidding! No shorting you here - there were exactly 100 in my jar. I SO hate getting gyped out of one or two, but not here - quantity per advertised.Only dislike it these have a pretty strong odor. Not sure how long it will take to fade, but I hope it does. The smell is nearly identical to that which you smell as "burnt wires". So, if the smell doesn't go away, it may make you think you have hot connections when there is nothing to be worried about. We'll see as I use more - if it becomes an issue, I'll report back.

I got the gray colored wire nuts with no wings. if you're doing a lot of home DIY youll definitely need a big box of wire nuts. I would suggest the non-winged nut. with all the smart light switches theres barely any room in the electrical box. all the smart light switches are big and deep. the winged portion is just going to eat up space and harder for you to install that smart light switch. get the regular wire nut and youll be fine.these work great, insulated, twist connection, and a big box of them. great product.

Yup, I tried these and they seem to work well and hold well. I used the brown wire nuts (22-8 gauge) on a home project with number 14 wire and they seemed to do the job well. But I see no UL or any other certification on the packaging nor on the wire nuts themselves. Because of that, I would probably not wire an entire house with these and would instead go for a name brand having a certification. These are good for small projects and if you want to save a buck. But, is worth the risk? I don’t know.

These are perfectly good wire nuts offered at an amazing price. They have the internal spring of steel to help promote a good connection, unlike some cheaper nuts which are just plastic. On close inspection, one can see some blemishes in the moldings of these, but I can't see it affecting their performance at all, and I don't think I'll be judged by the finish of my connectors so long as the circuits keep functioning. The nuts seem to tighten just fine without stripping, which is all they could be asked to do. If ever I use all of these nuts, I'll look to YMYP for more. Unbeatable pricing!

These wire nuts are super heavy duty and very large. Most blue nuts I deal with are for 18g-22g and guess the gauge chart I was looking at was the wrong one when I decided to these. The nuts are for use with very large gauge wire and not for small gauges. These wire nuts are definitely easy to use and would make for great connection. The price is a great value too but just not practical for the uses I need. More of my mistake I guess..I’ll have to look closer at the details.

These Tans are the best wire nuts to use, the wide range of AWG wire sizes and having the spring tension is very satisfying knowing in the back of your mind that the wires are twisted together solidly and safely.Should you need just a few wire nuts for a quick service, these are the ones that I’m grabbing for sure. What I also like is the small container that they are in, makes it easy to fit in your bag and you can use the container to hold the left over screws. Nuts and whatever else that is in your pockets. The price point is crazy low, making this a buy me now purchase.

A picture is worth 1000 words. It worked great and was high quality and easily threaded onto the twisted pair of wires.
