1.Works well with most of the essential oil, Each rattan sticks contains about 20 "channels" . Much like "mini-straws", these channels will "suck" the oil up.
2.Simply place reed sticks into diffuser bottle, the oil will saturate into reeds, and as it wicks up the reeds, it will release the aroma into the air.
3.It will take a few days for the reeds to absorb the oil,different oil with different time. To make the reeds work better, turn reeds up side down once a week,replace reed sticks once a month.

Have had these in Fractionated Coconut Oil with some essential orange oil for about 3 weeks with little diffusion. I've flipped them multiple times and tried adding some alcohol to thin the already thin oil in hopes it would diffuse through the reeds faster. So far the only way to smell it is to stick your nose in the reeds.
