So these were and are a lot bigger than I thought but then I guess my sense of measurement is off.. But they are heavy duty, which is nice. I’m actually using them to create giant to do list for myself. Otherwise, I will not remember to look at my tiny little handwritten to do list on the table. I’m gonna figure out out ways to get things accomplished despite my ADHD if it kills me. These would also be great for kids projects or vision boards as it mentions in the title but for me it’s the giant to do list that are really helping and it’s a good amount of pages they give you 50 sheets to work with it’ll take me a while to go through them all and if you two need a giant thick and sturdy poster sheets for any reason then I think you will be happy with your purchase if you choose to purchase these.

50 pieces of poster board came wrapped in brown paper and then slipped into a box just a bit bigger than the whole. 50 pieces of poster board is way heavier than you expect, so I was surprised that this didn't result in the pieces breaking free from the paper and getting torn up, but they arrived in pretty good shape except one edge that was a little damaged, but nothing that makes the board unusable. Overall, this seems like pretty standard poster board - one side is slightly shinier than the other, but both accept pen, sharpie or crayon equally well. I did not try pencil, but I suspect it would work fine as well. Overall, great price and good value.

The posters are sturdy, the size is perfect for projects or poster design. Sharpee markers work great, colors are vibrant.

The poster boards arrived wrapped in brown paper (inside a cardboard shipping box) and the paper was ripped in multiple places -- but the poster boards themselves aren't dinged at all, all corners and edges intact. It's a mystery, but a welcome surprise.The poster boards are nicely sturdy, a good weight for artwork that can stand on its own. Two glued back-to-back on a stick would make a fine political protest sign, to give you an idea of their strength. I'll be using them for Art, and for making matts to frame other artwork/embroidery, and there are enough of them that I'm all set for a long time. One side is smooth and polished, the other has a matte finish, so I can use a wide variety of drawing materials.These boards are also large enough that I will be using them for making pattern templates for my favorite clothing items -- much more durable than tissue paper or kraft paper! It's hard to find clothing that fits both my body and my uses, so when a favorite item starts to wear out, I take it apart and make a pattern from the pieces so I can sew my own replacements. The boards cut cleanly with a box cutter or other sharp knife, and with scissors.I'm very happy with these poster boards and will have no trouble finding uses for all 50 of them.

I used this poster board for a somewhat unusual purpose. I’m refinishing an antique cedar chest and the inside of the chest was covered with disintegrating paper. I cut poster board pieces to size, covered them with self adhesive wallpaper, then glued them with spray adhesive to the inside of the chest which made my relining job look flawless. This poster board is thick enough to stand up to the job and you get 50 pieces per order, so I have lots left over to use in other art and craft projects. Overall I’m very pleased.

This is very thick and durable posterboard, matte on one side and smooth on the other. It was shipped in a rather large cardboard box and wrapped in brown paper. The brown paper was tattered and looked shopworn, which made me wonder if they paper was old. I saw a few less than pristine edges, but it's posterboard - who will notice. The posterboard itself was very nice and took any kind of ink medium you could throw at it. It's a good idea to buy in quality though due to its size a little hard to store. This is pretty good posterboard and a pretty good deal!

It seems like there’s always something I need poster board for, especially since I have a school-aged kid, so it made sense to request this set of 22x28” poster board sheets.The full pack feels relatively heavy when you lift it, and I think that bears out with the quality of the paper. It’s nice and thick, and feels durable. One side is shiny and one is matte, and since it looks nice either way you can just go with whatever best suits the materials you’re using—the matte side absorbs more easily and is helpful for more liquidy inks. There was some roughness at some edges which is more visible on the matte side, but it’s not that noticeable when you’re standing further away from it.I needed to use a sheet to get a sense of the scale of a little maze amusement I’m creating for a celebration for the younger kids at my daughter’s school, and it was very helpful to get a better sense of what I was working with. I also found it easy to cut the paper; I didn’t have any issues with the paper tearing as I went along.I used the scraps to check some of the pens and markers I had on hand, using the same materials on both the front and back. It was impressive to see that nothing bled through, not even the Sharpie. Though most people probably wouldn’t want to rely on a ballpoint pen or pencil to get their message across on a poster, it is helpful to lay down the groundwork with them and I liked that I wasn’t left with grooves on the other side of the paper. Of course a pencil will still leave grooves on the side you’re writing on if you mark it too hard, but that’s normal for any paper. I ran them both briefly under the faucet, which of course washed away the water soluble inks, but the paper itself held up very well and didn’t get immediately soaked (though I imagine longer exposure in harsh conditions would take its toll).I think this set is well worth a purchase, especially if you often need larger sheets. It’s hard for me to speak to the price because the set I received for review has 50 sheets and it seems the listing is now for 100, but at 65 cents per sheet at the time of this writing I think it’s a great deal compared to what you’d spend buying one at a time.
