I needed some of these for a shelf that I had. I don’t know how but I misplaced all of these as we moved and these work perfectly to hold my shelf. I love that they are metal rather than a plastic versions because they just seem more sturdier and I feel more comfortable putting things like precious class items on a shelf that is supported by these. I would not hesitate to re-purchase again. I like that it comes in a plastic container to keep them organized and I can easily find them in my toolbox. I thought that these were very reasonably priced and I love that they work so well.

For yeas I have used the simple gravity enabled shelf pegs and those work well enough but I really wanted something that would hold them down more securely, These also work well as a replacement for standard pegs since they have such a large top surface they make the shelves more stable.

These pins are super strong and seem well built. I originally had plastic ones which I didn’t trust to hold the amount of weight I was putting on them. These ones came and there are a lot for such a cheap price. Honest for the quality, I’m surprised they’re so cheap. They were a bit bigger than the ones I had before, so I had to drill the peg holes a little bigger, but that was no issue. Once I did, I put these in and they held really well. They feel extremely sturdy and I don’t have to worry about the shelf collapsing. If you need some peg pins, get these!

I have a lot of bookcases and they're loaded up with heavy books. Of them came with the shelf pins that are like a tag that are flattened on one side. I heard a loud noise and discovered that one of the bookshelves collapsed because it bowed in the center and it pulled away from those shorter pins. When I fell on the books below it damaged a few of them. This is the way to go. Even though these are also five millimeter pins, the horizontal piece with a hole in it is much longer than the others were. So even if the shelve bows, the shelf isn't going to fall if it bows again. And if for some reason you actually want to screw the shelf into the shelf pin, these allow you to do that. But I don't. Take it from me, if you're loading up your bookshelves these are a much safer option to go with. I have yet to have one fall since I started using these instead.

Having these makes adding additional shelves to our cabinets so easy, and allows us to maximize organization and storage space. The pegs are of good quality and you get enough to add 12 shelves and still have a couple of spares. I couldn't be happier with these.
