Hubby needed some very strong S-hooks for various uses in his shop, so I ordered this set of 50. The cost was very low, and these are really durable strong S-hooks, 2" long. These zinc plated S-hooks will not rust, so can be used on patio furniture outside. They are very well made and well plated, smooth, no burrs. they support up to 100 pounds. Hubby is delighted with their design and function.

I use S hooks frequently. I used to buy whatever was available, mostly at yard sales and such. An S hook works best for keeping my tarp structures in shape. I have three structures and two of them need weights to keep the tarps taught. I've tried several different things for weights but settled on plastic OJ bottles filled with water. Adjustments are made using more or less water. To hang them from the tarps, I use S hooks. Works great. Very little maintenance as long as the S hooks are big enough. This set is just the right size and heavy so they won't break or bend out of shape.
