Loud and sturdy I tell you! Their great for the river and are tough. Haven't had many fall off when casting or reeling in. Definitely will buy again!

Attach these on the line and always know when a fish is near. The sound is crisp and clear and very distinguishable for a small bell. It is loud, but not so loud that it disturbs other people. They are easy to attach to the eye on the rod and work each and every time.

The bells keep coming off the plastic holder. There cheap so if some don't work it's not a giant deal but still annoying. Had about a 20% failure rate.

Quality seems ok for the price. I did have two in the bad that were broken already in the bag that I was sent. They seem to be ok and hold onto the rod fine.

I tried many other brands of bells. The eagle claw ones and a few others. The clips on the others were of bad design and would fall off when the tip up went off. Along with the other bells falling off, they just werent loud enough and seemed to break fairly easily.These bells are far superior in evert one of the categories i listed. They hold well on my "frabil" thermal tip ups and dont fall apart when opening them. The pitch/sound of the bells is different as well. I think it has to do with them being on a small spring, it gives them more movement making it much easier to hear especially with any kind of wind. I keep 2 in every tip up compartment!Bonus: These bells also work very well clipped to dogs collars when you have dark colored dogs and let them out to potty at night. Can hear them from a mile away(not literally)

These work great and hold the tiny dollar store glow sticks for night time fishing. Good value.
