I usually use the typical picture hanger with one nail but had to make sure what I was hanging wasn’t too heavy. I saw this and I gave it a try and it is really good and easy. I already hung up 10 pictures already. It doesn’t damage the wall and fits most pictures . I haven’t had the need to take it off yet but I guess you won’t be able to use the other end of a hammer. My guess would be a screw driver.

My friend and I have houses that were built in 1947 and 1954 - we have plasterboard walls. (It's what was used instead of plaster and lathe - before drywall came along.) Putting nails or screws into our walls always creates cracks and broken plaster and a big mess to clean up. Granted, I've been applying transparent tape over the intended hole before I drove the nail/screw - and that helps prevent cracking and chipping - it's an OK solution. But these little doodads work even BETTER! They are so simple to pound into the wall and they are super-secure - I used 2 per picture (wire hangers), just to be safe. And they didn't crack the surrounding plasterboard or create a big mess. Very impressed! Happy with my purchase :-)

We have plaster walls throughout our house and exposed block walls in our finished basement. These are amazing! Super simple to use and goes in all surfaces with a hammer. No wall crumbling. Holds mirrors and heavy pictures. Very pleased and will for sure buy again!

I hit a stud and the hook still went in without incident. The hooks are substantial. Being plastic, I wondered how sturdy the hooks itself would be but, no worries. These things are great. Recommend

I love how easy these are to install, and how sturdy they are. I think they will make less of a mess in my walls even though it's four nails per, but they are so small they won't be as noticeable as one larger nail hole. I just wish the actual "hook" part was a bit thinner. It was thicker than I expected, and it was near impossible to get one of my pictures hung up that had the flat clasp on the frame, and once on it was crooked and I had to take it off completely and try again, another near impossible task, rather than just moving it over a little. It was a little easier for the frame with a cord. I am happy they are holding that one as it is a heavier picture.

This 50 piece picture hanger kit shipped and arrived fast. The hangers come in a re-closable clear plastic container. I order these to use in the garage on cement block walls to hang various items and tools. These type of hangers have always worked well for me as did this kit. The hangers nailed down nice and tight, are holding what I wanted, and I have plenty left over for future organization. I rated these 5 stars.
