Nitrile butadiene rubber
Oil resistance, heat resistance, wear resistance, solvent resistance and high pressure oil resistance, but not suitable for acute solvents, such as ketones, ozone and nitrohydrocarbons.
Silicone
Good elasticity, heat resistance, cold resistance, ozone resistance, aging resistance, good insulation, not so good on tensile strength and wear resistance.
Fluororubber
Weather resistance, ozone resistance, chemical resistance, resistance to most oils and solvents, especially acids, aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons and animal and vegetable oils. Not recommended for ketones, low molecular weight lipids, poor cold resistance.

I'm using these on my plugs in my ears. These are much better quality than the ones I got from the piercer. These ones I got from the shop only lasted about a week before they stretched out and wouldn't hold the plugs anymore. I've been using the same pair of these for almost a month now with no signs of stretching! Highly recommend.

I searched everywhere trying to find the o-ring size for misting nozzles and I couldn't find the size specification anywhere, so I eye-balled it with a dial-caliper and got it pretty close. The original o-rings are thinner but these thicker ones actually work better and I'll bet they last longer in the Arizona scorch.
